The Regions of France

France

Nineteen regions. Twenty-five years. Not one trip we'd ever repeat — built from a blank page, around the people and places the brochures can't get you near.

A travel house, not a tour operator

We don't sell France. We open it.

Anyone can book a hotel and a car. We do the older, rarer thing — we hand you to the people who are the place: the vigneron, the château keeper, the family whose lunch becomes an afternoon. Twenty-five years of real relationships, and a France no catalogue can reach.

A Burgundy grand cru wine estate among the vines
Why we know France

Marie didn't study France. She married into it.

Our founder, Marie Tesson, spent fifteen years on a grand cru estate in Gevrey-Chambertin — married to the winemaker. She has spent the twenty-five years since building this, by hand, one relationship at a time.

  • 15 years on a Gevrey-Chambertin grand cru estate
  • Finance & law in Paris, then the Australian Embassy
  • World Travel Awards 2025 — France's Leading Travel Agency

Every door opens because Marie knows the name behind it.

Now, the good part

Tasting rooms are for tourists.

Marie learned France married to a Burgundy winemaker. These six regions we open from the inside — the cellars behind locked doors, the growers' own tables, the bottles the great Houses never sell.

A travel house in Nice — not a booking engine

Why us.

Across every country we cover, the promise is the same. We hand you to the people who are the place — a door opened by weathered hands, a table set without ceremony, a moment of grace that was in no guidebook but becomes the heart of the journey. We don't operate tours. We compose journeys, one at a time, for people who travel to understand rather than to tick off.

iTwenty-five years of real relationshipsNot suppliers on a commission — friends across France who open their own doors.
