Over twenty-five years, we’ve worked with the same winemakers, chefs, craftspeople and historians — not because we found them in a directory, but because we sought them out, stayed in touch, and earned the kind of trust that means a phone call gets answered on a Saturday.
It shows up in the details: the private cellar that isn’t on any tour, the restorer who agrees to walk you through a fresco at closing time, the fisherman who takes you out before the market opens because he has known our team for fifteen years.
The people who travel with us have usually seen a great deal. They aren’t looking for more of the same at a higher price — they want to understand a place, to eat at the table where the food actually comes from, and to ask real questions of someone who has spent a lifetime on one subject and is genuinely glad to be asked.
