ABOUT THESES JOURNEYS
Every trip we build starts the same way: a conversation. Not about destinations or dates, but about what someone is actually looking for. What follows is never quite what anyone expected, which is usually the point.
Over twenty-five years, we have worked with the same archaeologists, winemakers, chefs, craftspeople, and historians. Not because we found them in a directory, but because we sought them out, stayed in touch, and earned the kind of trust that means a phone call gets answered on a Saturday. That network is not something we can summarize in a brochure. It shows up in the details: the private cellar that isn’t on any tour, the restorer who agrees to walk you through a fresco at closing time, the fisherman who takes you out before the market opens because he has known our team for fifteen years.
The people who travel with us tend to have seen a great deal. They are not looking for more of the same, delivered at a higher price point. They want to understand a place, to eat at the table where the food actually comes from, to ask questions of someone who has spent a lifetime on one subject and is genuinely glad to be asked. That is what we try to make possible.
