He wanted something meaningful, timeless, and so breathtaking that his partner would feel like they had stepped into a fairytale. Together, we crafted a plan that wove romance and discovery into every step. The journey began with a private low-tide walk across the shimmering sands, something she thought was just a beautiful excursion. As they explored the cobbled streets and reached the abbey bathed in golden light, the stage was set for the moment.
Behind the scenes, I worked to ensure everything aligned perfectly. From organizing a private terrace with views of the bay to working with chefs on a menu that blended her favorite dishes with local flavors, every element was tailored to them. When the moment arrived, he led her to the terrace, where flickering candlelight and a breathtaking view awaited. Her astonishment was palpable as he proposed, with the setting sun painting the bay in hues of rose and gold. When Umal shared his dream of a magical proposal on the French Riviera, I knew we had to create something as enchanting as the village itself. Together, we envisioned a moment that would capture the romance of the Côte d’Azur, selecting La Chèvre d’Or’s pavillon romantique as the perfect backdrop. Nestled in the hotel’s gardens with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, the pavillon was transformed into a fairytale setting, complete with flowers, champagne, and the soft melodies of a violinist.
On the day, while she enjoyed a relaxing spa experience, Umal finalized his heartfelt letter and prepared for the moment. When she returned to her suite, she discovered the gown he had chosen for her and an invitation to join him at sunset. Guided by the golden light of evening, she followed a path through the gardens, where the scent of flowers and distant music filled the air.
As she arrived at the pavillon, the sight of Umal waiting beneath the stone arches took her breath away. The Mediterranean sparkled behind him as he knelt, offering words of love and devotion. Her joyous “yes” brought tears of happiness, and they celebrated with a champagne toast as the sun dipped below the horizon.
The evening continued with an intimate dinner on the terrace of La Chèvre d’Or, overlooking the lights of the Riviera. Together, they shared laughter, dreams, and the excitement of their future, creating a memory as timeless and magical as Èze itself.

When the client reached out to plan a proposal in France, he wasn’t looking for anything flashy. He wanted something intimate, elegant, and genuinely meaningful. From the start, I paid attention to the story behind the request, what mattered to them as a couple, the kind of atmosphere they would remember, and the pace that would keep the day calm instead of staged.
Château de Chenonceau became the obvious setting. It has a rare grace: the way it stretches over the Cher River, the softness of the gardens, the feeling of quiet grandeur without the need for spectacle. Together, we shaped an evening around that natural beauty, an unhurried arrival in the Loire Valley, a private visit through the château’s rooms and gardens, and a proposal held on a secluded balcony overlooking the water as the light began to fade.
Behind the scenes, everything was timed to feel effortless. A private guide was arranged so they could move through Chenonceau without interruptions. A bouquet was prepared as a simple, understated gesture, more personal than decorative. For the proposal itself, we planned one signature element: the engagement ring delivered by a trained eagle, guided by a falconer with total precision. Music was kept discreet and atmospheric, and champagne was ready the instant they needed a pause.
When the moment arrived, it felt suspended in time. The eagle’s flight was both breathtaking and strangely serene, landing with calm control and delivering the ring with perfect timing. As he knelt, the music carried softly through the evening air, and her “yes” came with pure emotion. They ended the night with a candlelit dinner in the gardens, French delicacies, champagne, lantern light, and the château quietly glowing behind them. They didn’t want a staged moment or a crowded viewpoint, but an experience that felt real and adventurous. Together, we imagined a day built around exploration, something that would feel like a simple winter excursion while quietly preparing the perfect moment in the background.
The journey began with a dog sledding ride through untouched alpine landscapes, the huskies pulling them across valleys wrapped in silence and snow. The mountains stretched endlessly around them, creating that rare feeling of being completely alone in nature. What she didn’t know was that, ahead of their arrival, a private igloo had been prepared in a secluded valley. Inside, candlelight, warm furs, and small romantic details transformed the ice shelter into a cozy refuge. They stopped there for lunch, laughing and warming up after the ride, unaware that this peaceful pause was about to become the turning point of their story.
Once the guides quietly departed, leaving them alone in the vast stillness of the valley, the moment naturally revealed itself. Surrounded by snow, mountains, and complete silence, he took her hands and proposed. The answer came instantly, carried by emotion, relief, and disbelief, followed by laughter as the reality of the moment settled in. Later, snowmobiles arrived to escort them back toward civilization, where the adventure shifted into comfort with an evening in a luxury alpine spa. Watching the day unfold from raw wilderness to warmth and celebration perfectly captured what they wanted: a proposal that blended adventure, intimacy, and unforgettable memories into one seamless experience.
